The PicoPlug comes in the form of a smart plug
connected to the Internet via WiFi or Ethernet.

The PicoPlugs comes in the form of a smart plug connected to the Internet via WiFi or Ethernet. It constitutes the main building block of the network. Small, easy to install, it is essentially a WiFi router between connected objects and the Internet:

  • Available at a fraction of the price of a LoRaWAN gateway
  • Plug and Play: no wiring, plug to wall socket, pair with WiFi and play…
  • Very long range: up to kilometers when located nearby doors or windows
  • Easy WiFi or Ethernet connection, connects to any WiFi access point (2.4GHz IEEE802.11b/g/n) or Ethernet (100BASE-TX) internet access
  • Security through AES encryption
  • Very low power consumption and Internet traffic
  • WiFi smart plug: 230 VAC, 16A, IEC type E (France, Belgium, Poland and other countries)

PicoPlugs should be installed inside buildings where they are most needed in order to reach objects everywhere deep indoor. Located nearby outside walls or windows, they will radiate far outside, up to kilometers.

The smart plug integrated in the PicoPlug lets you turn electronic devices on or off from anywhere. It provides wireless control of TVs, lamps, stereos, heaters, fans and more.  You will be able to turn devices on or off using your smartphone or tablet. You can set schedules for your devices and control them remotely using a mobile Internet connection. You can also add additional PicoPlugs to your home to control more appliances.
